Family Camping
At the last minute, Kevin and I decided to go camping as a trial run before we go camping the last two weekends in May. We drove to Lake Texoma at a place called Burns Run East in Oklahoma. I have to say that Kevin and I did an awesome job. The kids had a great time hanging around the campsite, swimming at the beach, checking out the Dennison Dam, and sleeping in the tent. All in all, I would say we are officially ready to become professional campers. Here's to many more trips!!!

I'm laughing out loud at Kevin's comment! =) You GO girl . . . looks like FUN was had by all!! So, you are going again in a few weeks? Different place? Well, you know our view on camping . . . we LOVE it . . . brings the family even closer, right (in more ways than one)? =) BTW, you are looking good, girl! Keep it up! =)
What fun! You know what made me laugh? Why does Kevin look shocked in every picture of him? Did you count to three or just leap out from behind the bushes? You could get a job working for Star Magazine. :-) Seriously though, it looks like the weekend turned out to be loads of fun and I know you made lots of memories for your kids. And I agree with Krista, you are looking great. Hooray for Meriann, the aspiring paparazzi!
Hey, that reminds me of camping in Virginia...without kids!!! Remember that once upon a time, long ago?Sounds like you had lots of fun. I know the kids had fun. Looks like Kevin still knows how to put up a tent and build a fire!
