Drive to the Basket...

Another Saturday, another early basketball practice. Have I mentioned Kevin and I REALLY love the Upward Bound program. It's just awesome!

Today after learning about offense and defense, the kids got to scrimmage for the first time. It was a lot of fun to see these kindergartners put their skills all together. Thomas showed a natural talent for getting to the ball. The dribbling we are still working on. Again, like writing, I don't think he's decided if he's more comforatable using his left or right hand. I suppose it will come. We are thinking the left.

The rest of the days was filled with Saturday errands. Kevin needed two new tires, and we needed to get supplies for a silly project for Thomas. Because his school is celebrating 100 days of school, each kindergartner has to have a t-shirt with a 100 of something on it. I mean really, is this a family project or a mommy project? I thought about putting 100 paper clips around the collar. Thomas wants to put iron on letters all over his t-shirt. Whatever...I'm just happy to be done with it.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Cute pictures! I am glad that Thomas is enjoying basketball. What a great program!

We just had 100th day too at Julia's school. They had to have a 100's collection of items, but not sewn on a shirt. Heavens!

Love you!

I love seeing pictures of your kids! Maybe next year we can come see Thomas play. Trinity would love that!

That's funny about the shirt. I'm not sure what I would have done, but it sounds like Thomas already knew what he wanted!!

Thanks for all your comments. They make me smile!

Love ya!
