Thomas began his first organized sport activity Saturday. Kevin and I enrolled him in the Upwards program through the 1st Baptist Church in McKinney. We have been SO impressed. Thomas is so excited about this new adventure. He has decided basketball is for him. I like this because a game will never be canceled to due to rain!! Thomas was so excited that when he received his uniform, he not only wanted to try it on, but then wear it to bed. Sorry, buddy!! Let's hope he remains excited.

Cute pictures! I'm glad that Thomas is liking basketball, and I like your logic about always having good weather to play in. Rex started soccer as his first team sport in the fall. It went okay, but his entusiasm waned as he realized that he would not be Pele' overnight. We are signed up again to play this spring, but we may change to something else in the future. We are still trying to discover his sporting passion. No doubt that he is very passionate about all things Star Wars. He would probably like fencing because he could pretend he was having a light saber duel with his opponent.
For Pete's sake let that boy wear his jersey to bed!
Well if he plays as well as he is cute, he will be very successful in this sport! What a precious picture of him standing at the door waiting to go to practice. That one has "rehearsal dinner" written all over it. :-)
